 Leaving Belgium in August 2019, we experienced confinement on our sailboat ROXY when we reached the Marquesas Islands. In a few days, the world changes.
 The Pacific islands are becoming isolated, borders are closing, and with them all hope of reaching Europe.
 The Coronavirus pandemic is forcing us to consider the only possible option to complete our circumnavigation: reaching the island of Reunion from French Polynesia. A journey to the heart of the Pacific and Indian Ocean, without hope of being able to touch Earth for more than 18,000 km.

 From the isolated atolls of the Tuamotu to the Southern Territories, the circumnavigation of Africa and the rise of the North Atlantic in the face of the prevailing winds, allowed us to understand the definition of the word determination.
